8:4. ಹದದೆಜೆರನಿಂದ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ರಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರದ ಏಳುನೂರು ಅಶ್ವಪಡೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದಾವೀದನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರ ಕಾಲಾಳು ಸೈನಿಕರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಪಡೆದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ನೂರು ರಥದ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಉಳಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಕುಂಟುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

8:4. ದಾವೀದನು ಯೂಫ್ರೇ ಟಿಸ್‌ ನದಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗಿದ್ದ ಸಾವಿರ ರಥ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ನೂರು ಕುದುರೆ ರಾಹುತರನ್ನೂ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರ ಕಾಲಾಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ನೂರು ರಥಗಳಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕ ಕುದುರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿ ಇತರ ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಕಾಲಿನ ನರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
